Quick & Easy Black Beans

Ingredients:
1 can organic black beans (or fresh if you’ve got the time and remembered to prepare ahead of time by soaking overnight or if you have a pressure cooker)
1/3 cup diced sweet onion
1-3 tsp oil or ghee (optional)
1/4 tsp cumin seeds, ground
1/4 tsp ground coriander seeds, ground
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt (make sure to check the sodium content of your canned beans)

Directions:
1. Sauté onions in oil until caramelized.

2. Then add remaining ingredients.

3. Simmer 8-10 minutes and serve warm.
